Arranging

Arranger

In addition to his work as a composer, Ed is in demand as an arranger and record producer.

His arranging work includes the opera scenes in Netflix's hit period drama, Bridgerton (S1-3), in which he also appeared on screen as conductor of the opera, Queen Charlotte (Netflix), Great Expetations (BBC), The Crown (Netflix), See How They Run (Searchlight), recreating the sound of Louis Armstrong and his Hot Five for Todd Komarnicki 's second world war drama Bonhoeffer (Angel Studios) and many others. Ed's arranging talents were showcased on Decca's 'Bond 25' album, recorded with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Abbey Road, and on his concert suite of Martin Phipps' music from The Crown, performed at the Krakow Film Festival.

Orchestrator

Ed is a trusted collaborator of many of the UK's top composers including Martin Phipps, Daniel Pemberton, Rachel Portman, The Flight (Joe Henson & Alexis Smith), Maurizio Malagnini and others. Working with a small team of diligent scribes, technical wizards, and musical afficionados, Ed turns around scores quickly, accurately, and with a great depth of musical knowledge, leading recording sessions as conductor.
